The Meaning of John 3:16 is to Keep Torah to have Everlasting Life

Many recite John 3:16, but they are ignorant of its connection with the keeping of Torah.

John 3:16 For Yahuwah so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believe in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

They take for granted that ‘believe’ is simply an intellectual accent of faith which requires no other action. However, this assumption is clearly dispelled by James chapter 2 [read the whole chapter James 2] as well as the following texts.

To ‘believe’ is to ‘know’ by ‘doing’ -

Eternal Life is KNOWING Yahuwah and Yahushua.

John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only Yahuwah, and Yahushua Christ, whom thou hast sent.

1 John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

1 John 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of Yahuwah perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

1 John 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in Him, and He in him. And hereby we know that He abideth in us, by the Spirit which He hath given us.

John spells it all out very clearly -

1 John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

In stark contrast, those who do not keep Torah but say they know Yahuwah are liars –

1 John 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

The fate of liars and non-keepers of Torah is -

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Isaiah 66:24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

Even after all of the above evidence, there are some in ‘Christendom’ who will insist that observation of the law was only relevant before the cross. However, AFTER the cross and in His departure message, known as ‘The Great Commission,’ Yahushua commanded continued teaching and keeping of Torah by ALL nations. He said in Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in my name. Teaching them to observe ALL things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amein.

This command must include everything that He ever taught including the keeping of Torah by all nations. If follows that the teaching of all the Apostles including Paul, must be in full conformity with His commands - including the keeping of Torah by all nations.. Let this be the guide for all who claim that Paul taught another Gospel etc. We can also deduce that Yahushua will not be ‘with us’ if we deviate from His clear instructions.
