While WLC continues to uphold the observance of the Seventh-Day Sabbath, which is at the heart of Yahuwah's moral law, the 10 Commandments, we no longer believe that the annual feast days are binding upon believers today. Still, though, we humbly encourage all to set time aside to commemorate the yearly feasts with solemnity and joy, and to learn from Yahuwah’s instructions concerning their observance under the Old Covenant. Doing so will surely be a blessing to you and your home, as you study the wonderful types and shadows that point to the exaltation of Messiah Yahushua as the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the conquering lion of the tribe of Judah, and the Lamb of Yahuwah that takes away the sins of the world.

Adam’s authority over the woman was again demonstrated when he named her Eve (“Chawah”, in Gen. 3:20). Genesis 3:20 And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.

Before Yahuwah took Adam’s rib, she did not exist [just like Adam did not exist before Yahuwah made him]. So in one moment she was nothing, and in the next moment she was [probably] the most beautiful woman ever on earth. She was then brought to Adam to be a help to him. She most certainly didn’t have any problem understanding her purpose. She was created for Adam, to be a companion, to be a help and to assist him.

Adam is called to love and cherish her as the gift from Yahuwah that she is. Her expression of thanksgiving to Yahuwah for creating her is to walk in the calling for which Yahuwah created her.

In his dominion mission, man needs support and assistance. Any successful army desiring to take dominion requires a support system behind them. Women are called to walk in the role of supporter and helper. It is an infinitely valuable, essential, important and indispensable role. In this, the dominion mission becomes a mission for both men and women to accomplish together. Each of them must fulfill their very important part of it. Both are equipped spiritually, emotionally and in every other way… suitable to accomplish the Yahuwah-given task. If the woman fulfills her part, she receives equal reward with the man (Numbers 31:26-27, 1Sam 30:24)

Understanding this foundation will help us to understand the role of women in the home, the Ekklesia/assembly/the body of Messiah. We can be sure that her role in every area fits well with what she was created to do. It is to be a role that is of support, help and assistance to the man.
