Anti-Bible Statements by Ellen White on Meat Eating
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.” Matthew 7:15 ESV |
Ellen White contradicts Father Yahuwah's chosen diet for His people regarding meat eating. When we read what she had written about meat eating and contrast her declarations with Father Yahuwah's revealed ideal diet for His people, it becomes clear to any objective reader that her statements on meat-eating are outright blasphemies. Worse still, she gives the clear impression that her statements against meat-eating are instructions from Father Yahuwah for those getting ready to be translated to 'Heaven.' By such declarations, she doubles down on her blasphemies by attacking Yahuwah's changeless nature, when she implies that her declarations are given to her by Him.
Father Yahuwah’s Ideal Diet
So, before we survey some of her shocking statements on meat eating, let’s first view Father Yahuwah’s ideal diet for His chosen people, the Israelites. We find Father Yahuwah’s ideal diet stated in the Song of Moses in Deuteronomy 32:
9 Yahuwah chose his people to be his own.
The people of Jacob belong to him.
10 Yahuwah found them in the desert,
in an empty, windy land.
He surrounded them and watched over them.
He protected them like the pupil of his eye,
11 like an eagle when she makes her young leave the nest to fly.
She stays close to them, ready to help.
She spreads her wings to catch them when they fall
and carries them to a safe place.
12 Yahuwah alone led his people.
They had no help from any foreign god.
13 Yahuwah helped them take control of the hill country.
They took the harvest in the fields.
He gave them honey from the cliffs
and olive oil from the rocky ground.
14 He gave his people butter from the herd and milk from the flock.
He gave them lambs and goats.
They had the best rams from Bashan and the finest wheat.
They drank the best wine made from the juice of red grapes.
Father Yahuwah’s ideal diet for His chosen people included lambs and goats, the best rams, and butter and milk.
Ellen White’s Rejection of Father Yahuwah’s Ideal Diet
Has the changeless Father Yahuwah changed His mind thousands of years later, and advised Ellen White to pen the following statements against meat eating?
Warning: Reader’s discretion is advised. Some of the statements are highly offensive, shocking, and blasphemous.
The moral evils of a flesh diet are not less marked than are the physical ills. Flesh food is injurious to health, and whatever affects the body has a corresponding effect on the mind and the soul. CCH 230.8
Greater reforms should be seen among the people who claim to be looking for the soon appearing of Christ. Health reform is to do among our people a work which it has not yet done. There are those who ought to be awake to the danger of meat eating, who are still eating the flesh of animals, thus endangering the physical, mental, and spiritual health. Many who are now only half converted on the question of meat eating will go from God's people, to walk no more with them. CCH 230.7
It has been clearly presented to me that God's people are to take a firm stand against meat eating. Would God for thirty years give His people the message that if they desire to have pure blood and clear minds, they must give up the use of flesh meat, if He did not want them to heed this message? By the use of flesh meats the animal nature is strengthened and the spiritual nature weakened. CCH 230.8
If ever there was a time when the diet should be of the most simple kind, it is now. Meat should not be placed before our children. Its influence is to excite and strengthen the lower passions, and has a tendency to deaden the moral powers. Grains and fruits prepared free from grease, and in as natural a condition as possible, should be the food for the tables of all who claim to be preparing for translation to heaven. Testimonies, Vol. 2, p. 352.
Those who have received instruction regarding the evils of the use of flesh foods...will not continue to indulge their appetite for food that they know to be unhealthful. God demands that the appetites be cleansed, and that self-denial be practiced in regard to those things which are not good. This is a work that will have to be done before His people can stand before Him a perfected people. Testimonies, Vol. 9, p. 153.
A diet of flesh meat tends to develop animalism ... rendering the mind incapable of understanding the truth. CH, p. 576
Meat eating deranges the system, beclouds the intellect and blunts moral sensibilities. Testimonies Vol 2, p. 63-64
We could recite several New Testament verses in support of meat eating. But this would be redundant and unnecessary after quoting Father Yahuwah’s ideal diet as outlined in Deuteronomy 32. His ideal diet constitutes the final word on meat-eating and is the clearest rebuff to the above blasphemous declarations of Ellen White's statements.
But for those who wish for another witness verse, I quote the following verse:
When Yahuwah your God has enlarged your territory as he promised you, and you crave meat and say, “I would like some meat,” then you may eat as much of it as you want. (Deuteronomy 12:20)
Has the changeless Father Yahuwah been the source of Ellen White’s statements on meat eating? Certainly not.
Ellen White warned her followers within the Seventh-day Adventist Church that going to ‘Heaven’ is contingent on abstaining from flesh foods, in stark contrast to Paul’s affirmation that ‘the kingdom of Yahuwah is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.’ Romans 14:17
She also warned that meat-eating affects our spirituality and excites our animal spirits. How was Yahushua’s spirituality preserved and His animal spirits controlled, even though he was a regular meat eater before and after the resurrection? How were the faithful prophets able to preserve their moral purity with their regular meat-eating habits?
Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which Yahuwah created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. For everything Yahuwah created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving. (1 Timothy 4: 1-4)

Paul’s warning about false teachers
In the exaggerated importance Ellen White placed on not eating kosher animal flesh, Ellen White fulfilled in her writings the clearest example of the false teachers Paul warned us about, who will be a sign of the last days.
The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.
Suppose you still believe that Ellen White has not abandoned her faith when she dared to contradict Father Yahuwah’s ideal diet insolently for His people and that He still chose her to be the chosen end-time messenger to His people. In that case, you will most likely believe us if we claim we have a few bridges to sell you at exceptional prices.
