The Dead Know Not Anything
13. Does the dead know anything, or have any memory?
For the living know that they shall die; but the dead know not anything, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Ecclesiastes 9:5.
14. What does the wise man add, that forever rule out the idea that the dead come back to earth to communicate with the living?
Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion forever in anything that is done under the sun. Ecclesiastes 9:6.
15. Then when miracles are performed by spirits assuming to be those of our dead friends, to what may we attribute them?
For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of Yahuwah Almighty. Revelation 16:14.
16. What will be characteristic of last day apostasies from the faith?
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. 1 Timothy 4:1.
In League With Satan
17. How will Satan deceive the people?
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 2 Corinthians 11:14.
NOTE: In the future, Satan’s superstitions will assume new forms. Errors will be presented in a pleasing and flattering manner. False theories, clothed with garments of light, will be presented to Yahuwah’s people. Thus Satan will try to deceive, if possible, the very elect.
18. What role will his agents assume before the end?
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness. 2 Corinthians 11:15.

19. Are miracles always evidence of the power of Yahuwah?
“And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast” Revelation 13:13–14.
Answer: No.
20. Did Satan try to counterfeit the return of Yahushua in 70 A.D. by signs and wonders?
Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is the Anointed, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Matthew 24:23, 24.
Answer: Yes.
21. What will happen to the performers of these signs and wonders at his final coming?
The Master shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming; even him whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish. 2 Thessalonians. 2:8-10.
Answer: They will be destroyed by Yahushua at His return.
NOTE: The Saviour has warned His people against deception upon this point, and has clearly foretold the manner of His final coming.
More and more, world events appear to be accelerating rapidly towards an inevitable climax.
Upon close review of several periods in HIStory, however, we find that every generation has had what they thought to be ‘convincing cause’ to conclude that they were witnessing the very last events which would culminate in the [final] return of Yahushua. We say ‘final’ because, with prayerful study, we have come to realize several things including –
(a) Yahushua/Christ repeatedly warned that his return would take even believers by surprise. Scripture provides no “signs of the times” to indicate when the Savior will return, so every believer must live in constant readiness for his return, whenever that may be.
(b) Scripture points to Yahushua ‘coming again’ - multiple times - before His final return to complete the kingdom on earth and hand it over to Yahuwah.
As we understand it now, His '2nd coming' was in the A.D.70 judgment / destruction of Jerusalem - it was the end of the Israelite era/world/sacrificial system etc. In His ‘Olivet discourse, all that He said [prior to verse 35 of Matt. 24] would happen during THAT existing generation which was being addressed. His 'FINAL' coming was then described AFTER verse 35.
Matthew 24:
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17:
16 For Yahushua himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of Yahuwah : and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet Yahushua in the air: and so shall we ever be with Him.
This coming there is no possibility of counterfeiting. It will be universally known--witnessed by the whole world.
NOTE:
EXCERPT: There is more than one “coming” of Christ in the New Testament. Most of our writings have centered around that “second appearance” of Christ, which took place in A.D. 70. It was called “second” to His “first” personal appearance.
22. What will those say then, who have maintained their love for the truth?
And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our Eloah, we have waited for Him, and He will save us: this is Yahuwah; we have waited for Him, we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation. Isaiah 25:9.
To be forewarned is to be forearmed; will you now make Yahuwah’s word the standard of your life?
