All who wish to honor Yahuwah in their lives and their marriage will set aside the false standards of worldly dating and choose a mate in a way that honors their Maker. This article examines five crucial steps a person must take in finding a spouse that will have Heaven’s blessing.
Of the many ways Satan seeks to corrupt the soul is sexual impurity. Adultery, fornication, and pornography are widely acknowledged sins that corrupt the mind and open the floodgates to ever more of Satan’s temptations. However, there is another area that also brings the soul under Satan’s control. It is not discussed as frequently due to discomfort of the topic. That area is masturbation.
The root of every sinful act is always found in some sinful tendency, cherished in the heart. One sin that is rapidly reaching pandemic proportions across all age categories, among married couples and singles alike, is that of pornography. Those who indulge in pornography travel on a road that will eventually end in the total ruin of their souls.
It is natural for the mind of man, originally created in his Maker’s image, to enjoy and desire beauty. One of the most common areas in which people focus their desire for beauty is in personal adornment. To seek to draw attention to one’s appearance is to fall prey to PRIDE, the sin for which Lucifer fell. The faithful, in these last days, will lay aside everything that distracts or misrepresents the purity of heaven.
The only way for Yahuwah to communicate with the soul is through the mind. Thus, anything that beclouds the mind or numbs the senses must be avoided at all costs. All who are seeking righteousness will find that returning to a very simple diet, free of strong spices, sugars, unhealthy fats, additives and preservatives will be a tremendous blessing in the battle to overcome sin.
Scripture presents a very special group of people who honor their Creator by worshipping on His holy Sabbath when all the rest of the world rejects it. As soon as obedience is rendered on this point, however, each must stand alone, as this is extremely unpopular with priests, pastors, friends, and family alike. All who reject the obligation to worship the Creator on His Sabbath will rise up against those who seek to obey. Such it has ever been between those who serve Yahuwah and those who serve Him not.
The seventh-day Sabbath, as part of the divine law, is binding upon all peoples throughout all time. Of all the commandments, no other commandment is broken so frequently and with such boldness as the fourth commandment.
The Law of Yahuwah is a perfect transcript of His character, His innermost thoughts and feelings. Yahuwah’s Law is perpetual and unchanging. It will stand forever.
The importance of early childhood education cannot be over-emphasized. It is a serious responsibility to bring a child into the world. All who choose to do so have a solemn duty before Yahuwah to train the child, to mold his character, to be a fit citizen for the kingdom of Heaven.
The battle for the human soul begins as a battle for the mind. A person’s thoughts influence his emotions and the thoughts and feelings combined make up the character. If the thoughts are impure, Satan has already won the battle for the soul. One of Satan’s most effective tools in corrupting the soul is found in movies and television.
Yahuwah is a most generous Father. Most of His gifts go unrecognized and unacknowledged by His earthly children who take them for granted. But all should remember that “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above.” (James 1:17) One gift that is overlooked perhaps more than any other is the gift of time.
Satan reserves his most subtle temptations for those who know better than to engage in the more obvious sins. One area Satan has very successfully used to ensnare many unawares is sports. Competition originated in the heart of Lucifer himself when he coveted Yahuwah’s position [see Isaiah 14:14] in the heavenly courts. This struggle to be the best, to be #1, to be the winner, is the spirit of competition, and the spirit of competition is the spirit of war.
Because the Bible is clear that Yahushua was resurrected on the first day of the week, and since Sunday is the first day of the modern week, the assumption that Yahushua was resurrected on Sunday seems conclusive. However, the modern calendar was not used by the Israelites of Yahushua’s time. All who worship on Sunday in honor of “Easter Sunday” as the day of the Saviour’s resurrection are honoring a Roman Catholic institution which itself is based upon ancient pagan fertility celebrations.
Scripture is clear. The remnant “church” is not the last organized denomination. Rather, they are the final remnant of Called Out Ones. They are called out from all denominations. Scripture presents the final generation as having the final separation from Babylon, her churches, and from all false doctrines and practices.
The infinite wisdom and limitless love of Yahuwah devised a plan whereby sinful, fallen man could be restored to divine favor. This plan embraced far more than the legal redemption of mankind from the control of Satan. It also called for the restoration of the divine character within the human soul. It is this work that Yahushua, our great High Priest, is engaged in right now.
New Moon Day is the gift of Yahuwah. The faithful in these last days will uphold the sanctity of this special day. Scripture declares that New Moon Day will be observed by the redeemed throughout eternity in the New Earth. Untold joys await those who seek fellowship with Him in whom all the fullness of Life dwells!
Romans 14 is one of the most commonly misinterpreted chapters in all of the new testament. Paul's words here have often been twisted to suggest that Yahuwah's Sabbaths and feast days are no longer relevant to Christians today, and that all are free to choose on which day, if any, they rest from their labors and worship the Creator. However, a careful study of the context of this chapter reveals the error of this idea. Paul always kept the feasts and the seventh-day Sabbath and he taught his converts to do the same!
Many today are confused by the Book of Galatians. Both Sunday-keepers and Saturday-keepers use texts found in Galatians to "prove" that some or all of Yahuwah's appointed times have been nailed to the cross and are no longer binding on Christians today. An examination of the issues involved, however, reveals something entirely different.
Words and phrases are sometimes read or heard in sermons that are not clearly understood. Righteousness by faith is one such phrase; frequently used, but dimly understood. It is very important that all who desire to live eternally with Yahuwah have a clear understanding of precisely what “righteousness by faith” is, because it is the only way anyone shall be saved!
