While WLC continues to uphold the observance of the Seventh-Day Sabbath, which is at the heart of Yahuwah's moral law, the 10 Commandments, we no longer believe that the annual feast days are binding upon believers today. Still, though, we humbly encourage all to set time aside to commemorate the yearly feasts with solemnity and joy, and to learn from Yahuwah’s instructions concerning their observance under the Old Covenant. Doing so will surely be a blessing to you and your home, as you study the wonderful types and shadows that point to the exaltation of Messiah Yahushua as the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the conquering lion of the tribe of Judah, and the Lamb of Yahuwah that takes away the sins of the world.

The Weight of Evidence

When a person has been raised believing error, the search for truth can be very confusing.  Truth, no matter how pure, can feel wrong emotionally, when it contradicts a person’s core beliefs.  Yahuwah has left none to struggle alone.  He has provided in His Word a standard by which anyone can discern what is truth and what is error.  This rule is to use the combined weight of evidence.

The Moon is Sick & Other Silly Assumptions

As sincere-hearted people turn to extra-Biblical literature searching for truth, various theories have arisen on how the true Biblical calendar works.  Many have turned to the books of Enoch, Jasher, and Jubilees for an explanation of the Creator's calendar.  WLC believes that our understanding of Yahuwah’s calendar should be based on the evidence contained in Scripture, rather than these other, extra-Biblical sources.

Wine is a Mocker | Should Christians Drink Alcohol?

Continuous Weekly Cycle Proven False
Modern Sabbatarians insist that Saturday is the Sabbath of the Bible because they believe that the seven-day week has cycled without interruption ever since Creation. One reason for this belief is the fact that when the Julian calendar changed to the Gregorian calendar in 1582, no days of the week were lost. Thursday, October 4, 1582, on the Julian calendar was followed by Friday, October 15, on the new Gregorian calendar. Therefore, it is assumed, because no days were "lost" when the calendars transitioned from Julian to Gregorian, the modern week is identical to the Biblical week.

The Modern Seven Day Week: Exploring the History of a Lie
The theory of a continuous weekly cycle is Time's greatest conspiracy theory. The facts of history prove that the modern calendar in use is founded upon a pagan calendar. Thus, neither Saturday nor Sunday is the Biblical day of worship as both are calculated using a counterfeit calendar.

Recovering the Lost Sabbaths
The Sabbath is a holy, divine gift to mankind. Those who do not cherish the knowledge of the Sabbath as they should will have the gift removed. Scripture reveals that Yahuwah Himself would cause the knowledge of the true Sabbath to be lost by those who did not value it. However, in the time of the end, that knowledge is to be restored.

Catholic Scholar Verifies Neither Saturday nor Sunday is Biblical Sabbath
Saturday Sabbatarians quote from the writings of Catholic scholars to prove that the Roman Catholic Church admits that she changed the worship day from Sabbath to Sunday. In a startling interview, one Roman Catholic scholar clarifies that this was a change of calendars, not merely days of the week. Therefore, Saturday itself is not the true Sabbath of the Bible.

8 Days a Week? Julian Calendar History

Assumptions are dangerous – especially when they are made in the realm of religion.  If a theological belief is based upon a faulty assumption, the religious practice will be in error.  At the heart of Christendom lies a most dangerous assumption: that the modern 7-day week has been cycling continuously since Creation.  A close examination of the early Julian Calendar, however, proves the grave fallacy of this belief!

New Moon Day: The Dawn After Conjunction

World's Last Chance is overjoyed to share what we sincerely believe to be advancing light on our Creator's calendar.  Since we first accepted the glorious light of Yahuwah's luni-solar calendar and its divine role in determining all of the Feast Days, including the Seventh Day Sabbath, we have in our ignorance proclaimed that New Moon Day was determined by the first visible crescent.  We now, after much prayer and study, repent of this error and would like to humbly share our conviction that New Moon Day is to be observed, beginning at dawn, on the day following the moon's conjunction with the sun.
